The MOMS Club® of Hillsborough-West, NJ's activities include:
- Monthly meetings with speakers on a wide variety of topics including self-defense, early intervention programs, child psychology, music and the arts for children, and Somerset County recycling!
- Playgroups for children of all ages!
- Babysitting co-op where members trade babysitting services. The co-op is available Monday through Sunday, from 7 AM to midnight for doctor's appointments, golfing, parents' night out, or anything else that we need!
- Arts 'n Crafts activities for both mothers and children including fingerpainting playgroups and Fall and Holiday crafts!
- Book Club meets once a month to discuss a book selected by the group while the kids play. Recent selections include The Book Thief, The Help, The Art of Racing in the Rain, Heart of the Matter and The Wednesday Sisters. Great for us and great for them!
- Exercise and Walking Groups as well as other special interest activities!
- Recipe Swap where members exchange recipes monthly with seasonal themes!
- Fun field trips to kids' movies, children's theater, museums, zoos, and more!
- MOMS Night Out Whether it's a trip to the mall, game night, or dinner and a movie, this night is a great way to refuel and get to know each other better!
- Casual get-togethers in parks, members' homes, kids attractions, and restaurants!
- Service Projects that benefit women and children in the community. Our group has helped raised funds for the town's planned upgrade to Ann van Middlesworth Park to include a universal playground, Somerset County United Way's Stuff the Bus and Baby Bundles programs, underprivileged children, resource centers, and baby care facilities with a variety of projects that are both fun and worthwhile!
